Our Cake Meds is a prescribed medication and requires all prospective patients to fill out a medical intake form and submit a photo of a valid government ID.
You will be asked to provide a photo of your ID at the end of the intake form. You'll have the option to select a photo or video from your Photo Library, Take a Photo or Video, or choose a file.
The photo needs to be 5mb or smaller. Your video needs to be in MP4, MOV, AVI or WebM format (max. size 50 MB)
Here are some tips on how to take an approved photo of your I.D.:
You'll want to make sure that you are taking the picture in a room with plenty of light and that the ID is placed on a black/dark background. There should be high contrast between the document and the background.
- Ensure that the image fills about 80% of the screen on your device when you take the picture - meaning that you shouldn’t zoom in or out too much with the camera.
- Ensure that all four corners of the image are visible.
- Ensure all text is readable.
- Ensure the image is clear and crisp.
- No portion of the image may be covered, blocked out. or missing.
If you're using an iPhone, you can reduce the mb size when in the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap Camera.
- At the top of the screen, tap Formats.
- To save your photos in HEIC format, tap High Efficiency.
- All subsequent photos will be saved in HEIC format with a reduced file size.
You can also try turning off the "Live" feature on your camera before taking the photo to see if that helps.
