Can water-based lubes be used for backside play?

While water-based lubes will work and are completely safe for backside play, but we don't recommend it.  Silicone lubes or our Tush Cush would be the best option and make for a more enjoyable experience.

The reason why we suggest silicone based lubes is because water-based lubes will dry up quicker in that area requiring more reapplication.  The skin in the anal area is relatively porous, and as a result water-based lubes absorb quicker in this area, causing it to dry out faster.
